Open to All. Judo for all.

We are open to both experienced Judoka and total novices and take pride in our patience and understanding. People of all fitness and sporting backgrounds are welcome and we have much experience in coaching people with various conditions. This includes Autism, ADHD, ODD, Dyslexia, Deafness and Down Syndrome to name just a few.

Our Clubs are friendly and welcoming and we like to think we have a nice mix of Judo training and the social interaction element of a club like ours. Many of our members become good friends both on and off the mat.

We have always strived to blend fitness, technique and Randori (Judo Club Night fighting) We believe in using training drills, warm ups and cool downs that are fun whilst at the same time, developing key Judo skills. We have regular drink breaks, our Chippenham Club has nice mats and air conditioning which is great in the Summer and several Dan grades at the club who will always adapt to your level and provide coaching whilst fighting where needed and not simply throw you around the mat.

Our Chippenham club also boasts a couple of nice soft crash mats for those learning how to land safely, for more impact orientated throws, more nervous 'newbies' or ageing judoka who want to be able to get up for work the next day without feeling like they did 10 rounds with a super-heavyweight boxer.

Sensei Jason who is our head coach is a full time Judo Coach in Schools and is BJA Level 2 Qualified.
